Many groups around the city of New York continue The City of New York tackle the issue of obesity that plagues our nation and as part of this, teenage chefs from Harlem will compete to display their talents in the kitchen on June 6, 2012.

This competition will promote nutrition education and smart lifestyles for the youth in Harlem. The event will be held at Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture on 515 Malcolm X Blvd, New York City.

Teen chefs will be joined by their celebrity counter parts, including famous Chef Roble of Bravo TV who will judge the competition. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the program start at 6:30 pm.

Last year there was a similar event to the one that is happening in June. It featured two high schools of West Side High School and students from Health Corps around New York City.
