An NYPD sergeant was shot and killed and another was wounded while pursuing a burglary suspect in the Bronx Friday afternoon, police sources confirmed.
Police sources say the sergeants encountered the suspect when they responded to a home invasion in progress on the fifth floor of 1460 Beach Ave., in the Parkchester section of the Bronx.
