Youth across the city can apply for a spot in the city’s Summer Youth Employment Program.

The program provides youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with paid summer employment for up to six weeks in July and August. Participants work in entry-level jobs in industries including education, financial services, technology and medical.

Workshops on job readiness, career exploration and financial literacy are also part of the program.

The city partners with community-based organizations in all five boroughs for the positions. Youth can apply for the program online (nycsyep.com) or at a community-based organization during the application period. Participants are selected by lottery for the program. The deadline is March 16.
