Harlem State Sen. Brian Benjamin, in partnership with Whole Foods Market, hosted his second annual Turkey Giveaway to help feed families this November.
The giveaway took place Friday at the Harlem Whole Foods Market, where 100 preselected families received a turkey and gift bag featuring food and products.
The event featured performances by The Rakeim Walker Project and an appearance by Yandy Smith from VH1’s reality series “Love & Hip Hop.” Benjamin handed out turkeys as well as engaged local community members.
