The East New York community announced the celebration of the life of Uriah Theophilus Grey, born in Hannover, Jamaica, West Indies Oct. 22, 1919, and who is now a 70 year resident of Brooklyn, New York. On Oct. 22, 2019, Uriah Grey marked 100 years of life, legacy building and longevity. Council Member Inez Barron and Assemblyman Charles Barron presented proclamations to Grey as part of the community celebration of his life.
