All of our Black leaders should pay heed to what is happening to Ice-T on “Law & Order: SVU.” The veteran actor has been noticeably absent from the long-running NBC crime drama. According to reports, Ice-T has not left the program, but his screen time has been reduced in Season 27 because of budget cuts after Kelli Giddish, who plays the role of Amanda Rollins, returned to the show. However, producers have told the former rapper they cannot imagine “SVU” without him, and he is not leaving the show. Ice-T has played NYPD detective Odafin Tutuola for 25 years……
Tongues are wagging that Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, assisted in organizing and paying for a Thanksgiving dinner for 1,000 of his fellow inmates. Puffy collaborated with the Bankroll Bosses inmate group to buy food from the prison’s commissary, then cooked for two days to serve turkey, mashed potatoes, and more for all of the housing units………
“The Bear’s” Edwin Lee Gibson has joined the cast of “Air Bud Returns,” in which Gibson portrays Jack, the guiding force for Jacob, a kid navigating grief and self-discovery. “Air Bud Returns” wrapped production in Vancouver, British Columbia, last week. Gibson also recently unveiled the teaser for his own directorial debut, the short film (with a long name), “a pink and red dress, made of satin … covered in flowers, mostly roses.” ………..
