TDS is not the abbreviation for touch downs, but a touchstone for our maniacal head of government, and to hear him tell it, it’s given birth to Trump Derangement Syndrome. The term has gained fresh currency with the deaths of Rob and Michele Reiner, which he invoked as the cause of their deaths.

Still, it is basically another disrespectful way to embolden his own narcissistic, demonic intent to command and take advantage of every aspect of social media, no matter how crude and cruel.

Rocker Jack White put it exceedingly well when he voiced the outrage that is shared by many Americans, citing “Trump, you disgusting, vile, egomaniac, loser, child. Neither he nor any of his followers can defend this gross, horrible insult to a beautiful artist who gave the world so much.”

Moreover, I agree with Jack that Trump is using the tragedy to promote his own “vanity and fascist authoritarian agenda.”

Nothing we learn each day is taboo or prohibitive when it has utility in the Trumpian universe, his demonocracy. If anyone has caused an incurable, unyielding affliction among those seeking freedom, justice, and equality, it’s Trump, and that’s the kind of disease we wish would spread.
