My name is Sophia H. and I am currently a 16-year-old from South Orange, NJ. I am a junior at Columbia High School, with a passion for STEM and service. I enjoy volunteer tutoring math, organizing service projects through the YMCA’s Teen Leaders Program, and being a Girl Scout. Some of my favorite extracurricular activities include playing lacrosse, cheerleading, cello, and participating on the math team. My dream is to further encourage intersectional engineering through community service and social work. I hope to become an Aerospace Engineer and continue to advance STEM in underrepresented communities.
