Raja Feather Kelly and the feath3r

This month of dance is unbelievably full, but be sure to include Raja Feather Kelly and the feath3r’s season at The Invisible Dog (June 6-7) in the world premiere of We May Never Dance Again, “…a series of mini-melodramas about the denial of death and its birth of the end of the world. Told through Kelly and the feath3r theory’s signature and surreal style of dance-theatre, an unabashed un-recycling of popular culture, We May Never Dance Again simmers with gritty physicality and sincere storytelling as it moves through the provocative, political and deeply personal, presenting a dance society that is shockingly isolated and yet surprisingly familiar,” according to the release. We May Never Dance Again® is performed live to an original score by Zain Alam, featuring Frank Sinatra, Jamiroquai, Micheal Bublé, Donna Summer, Lady Gaga and Whitney Houston. Following Friday’s performance, the Company will host its annual Tele-Gala-Dance-A-Thon. For more information visit www.theinvisibledog.org
