On Thursday, February 6, 2020, Brooklyn activist Stefani Zinerman announced her candidacy for the 56th Assembly District at the Historical Weeksville Heritage Center.

According to her press statement, “Stefani Zinerman is a passionate advocate for the Bedford Stuyvesant and Crown Heights communities. Stefani’s unfailing commitment to the residents of these communities is evident in the various roles she has undertaken including: former Chief of Staff for Councilman Robert Cornegy, Chair of Civic Engagement for the Brooklyn NAACP, Executive Board Member for VIDA (Vanguard Independent Democratic Association), and Advisory Committee Chair of Age Friendly for Bedford Stuyvesant & Crown Heights.”

Sights set on Albany, Zinerman now strives to be the next Assemblymember for the 56th Assembly District for the residents of Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights.
