On Saturday, July 16, a free theater workshop for young people will take place with the Public Theater’s professional teaching artists at Crotona Park in the Bronx. The free event will be a hands-on experience of William Shakespeare’s work through acting, art and games.
“Summer ShakeUp” is open to students ages 12 and up. Registration begins at 10 a.m., and the program will run from 10:30 a.m to 1 p.m. The event will also take place Friday, July 15 at the Delecorte Theater in Central Park from 9:30 a.m -12:30 p.m. Registration for Friday will begin at 9 a.m.
