Hollywood personality, actor and former talk radio host Wendell James will co-star alongside good friend and Emmy-nominated actress-comedienne Kym Whitley in a humorous, poignant docu-series following Whitley’s life and her chaotic group of friends, as they attempt to do something they’ve never done before: raise a baby. The show, called “the Village,” is scheduled to air Saturday, April 20 at 10 p.m. EST on the OWN Network.

After more than two years in a Pennsylvania federal prison, Wesley Snipes was released on April 2 and transferred to a community corrections program in New York. He will be completely free on July 19. Sylvester Stallone has already reportedly offered Snipes a role in the next “Expendables” sequel.

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama hosted the all-star concert, which included performances by Sam Moore, William Bell, Eddie Floyd, Queen Latifah, Mavis Staples and Justin Timberlake. The program will premiere on Tuesday, April 16 at 8 p.m. EST on PBS stations nationwide.
