If my experience at Dover whet your appetite for something new to eat, then New York City Summer Restaurant Week (@NYCGo) is just in time! Until Aug. 15, get out and enjoy prix fixe menus from some of the city’s most spectacular restaurants. With three-course lunches and dinners, you’ll have to put that iPhone on mute and dig in all over town.

Here in Harlem, there are four restaurants participating. Red Rooster (New American) is serving lunch only. Lido (Italian) is serving both lunch and dinner and newcomers, the Cecil (African) and Minton’s (Southern) are serving dinner only. Their menus reflect some of the best dishes they offer.

Whether you stay uptown or go downtown, your $25 (lunch) and/or $38 (dinner) will go a long way. Go to a couple of places that you’ve been living to try. This is the time. Don’t waste this opportunity!

Visit www.nycgo.com/restaurantweek to find participating restaurants, see menus, make reservations and more.
