The wife of former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice took to Instagram to defend her abusive husband and chastise the media for showcasing the video of him landing a knockout punch to her head last February in a Revel Casino elevator in Atlantic City. Sept. 9.
Janay Rice posted on Instagram: “I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like I’m mourning the death of my closest friend, but I have to accept the fact that it’s reality, is a nightmare in itself. No one knows the pain that the media and unwanted attention from the public has caused my family. To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret every day is a horrible thing. To take something away from the man I love that he had worked his ass for all his life to just gain in ratings is horrific!” She continued, writing, “This is our life.”
I’m sorry, sweetheart, but your husband using your head as a punching bag is horrific. May God be with you.

Whether it’s being blackballed for marrying a powerful director or hating the way you look because you were once told you’re overweight and undesirable as a child star, there’s nothing friendly about these ladies’ journeys in Hollywood.
