In her Coral Gables Atelier, Florida’s renowned designer Silvia Tcherassi unveiled a sensuous spring-summer 2015 fashion collection last Wednesday to a private group of VIP clients, industry insiders and the media. The look is ladylike with a play on silhouettes that are both fluid and structured. Her gowns possess an air of fragility.
On some dresses, the waistlines are enhanced with embroidered lace sashes. Her most prominent colors include basic black and nude. Often transparent, print gowns featuring exotic floral and animal patterns are shown throughout the line. As for fit, her clothes emphasize the curvaceous female lines on the body. Strategically placed transparencies take on a prominent role in this collection, especially on a black lace gown. Her clothes are designed for an equally, sensual feminine and contemporary woman.
After the presentation of this 24-piece capsule collection, there was a private champagne reception at the venue for guests. Pieces from the collection were available for purchase exclusively at the store.
