The youths of Muhammad Mosque #7 hosted a Justice or Else: 10,000 fearless open house Saturday Nov. 21 at MIST Harlem.

At the open house, attendees learned more about the boycott that extends from Black Friday to New Year’s Eve, the training that will be implemented to help stop the violence in our communities by registering 10,000 fearless men and women and why we must stand together against our oppressors to bring about peace and unity.

“If you’re here, then the odds are you know the state of being Black in America,” said the host. “There is hardly any love for Black people within our Black communities, and there is definitely no love within the American society for Black bodies.”

This event took place after Minister Louis Farrakhan’s speech at the 20th Anniversary of the Million Man March, where he again made the call, inviting 10,000 fearless men and women to go into their communities to help end the senseless violence, backed by their fearless elders, in their demand for Justice or Else!

“We need 10,000 fearless men to go inside the Black communities and stand in between the guns of the gangs, and then settle with conflict resolution and bring peace in our communities,” said Farrakhan.

The purpose of this event is to keep the spark in the community until the general training program is released.

“Our generation is very rebellious and disorganized, so when Minister Farrakhan gave 10,000 fearless a label and a name, he knows that we are fearless but he wants us to channel it,” stated Brother Rasul of the Youth Committee. “We need to organize, channel that fearless hostility, and then pool together our resources and come together in unity.”

“They think we won’t come together as a people, and this is something we need to prove them wrong,” said Sister Latoya X. “Regardless of race and color, we can come together for a great cause, and this is what we did here at this open house. Different people from different belief groups. It’s a beautiful feeling to see that we are coming together for a change. We are going to be the 10,000 fearless, believe it or not, and that’s why we are here today.”

Speakers at the event provided the group with resourceful information, which showed that even though the Black community is considered the minority, we play a major role in society in regards to our buying power and how influential we can be as a society and race when we come together for a common interest or stand together against a common enemy.

“Like in the days of Moses and Jesus, the youth and the children must be put forward,” stated Brother Abdul-Hafiz Muhammad, New York Representative of Minister Louis Farrakhan and Student Minister of the Muhammad Mosque #7. “The youths are our present and future. Therefore, we must push them out front and allow them to be out front, make the mistakes they will learn from, but be there to absorb it for them and give them guidance.”

“The minister’s job is to be the inspiration and to give us the instruction,” added Brother Tariq Muhammad. “We believe that he is God’s representative to us. That 10,000 is going to act like a team of people. We are losing right now. We are going to come together to see a change in justice.’’
