Hundreds of students attended the College & Career Fair held at Queens College Oct. 18, meeting the representatives of more than 100 colleges at a historic college fair.

The College & Career Fair for Young Men was held at the Fitzgerald Gym in Queens, and was coordinated by The Eagle Academy Foundation, the New York City Department of Education Office of Postsecondary Readiness (OPSR), and Queens College. “Not every young man gets to attend an Eagle Academy Foundation school, but every young man deserves the opportunity to succeed. The College & Career Fair was created to improve the educational outcomes of all students, particularly young men of color in New York City,” said David Banks, president and CEO of The Eagle Academy Foundation. “For the first time, [we’ve taken] our College & Career Fair citywide.”
