Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Harlem is hosting its 54th Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Worship Service and Celebration on Jan. 17 starting at 10 a.m. The theme for this year’s event is “Moving From The Dream To Action.”
Rev. Dr. Elaine M. Flake will serve as the guest speaker for the event. This year’s honorees are U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer, The Positive Community, Don Peebles, CEO of the Peebles Corporation, Jackie Rowe-Adams, co-founder of Harlem Mother’s S.A.V.E. and Doreen Lesane, founder of Sunshine in My Living Room.
Mount Olivet Baptist Church is located at 201 Malcolm X Boulevard (Lenox Avenue).
