New York, NY – The Saeko Incinohe Dance Company will present a Free Family Festival Saturday June 20 at 3 PM at the Riverside Theatre, 91 Claremont Avenue in Manhattan (between 120th and 122th Streets). The famed dance ensemble, which has performed internationally for over 35 years, will present the Japanese tale, “The Fisherman and the Tortoise.” Founder and artistic director Saeko Ichinohe, a Julliard trained choreographer, has won critical acclaim for blending Japanese music and themes and modern American dance moves, in a “cultural bridge” between East and West.
