Jennifer Hudson and her family were forced to come with terms over the death of Hudson’s nephew, 7-year-old Julian King on Monday. The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Hudson’s family identified the body of the boy at the Cook County medical examiner’s office.The FBI has officially confirmed it’s the body of the Academy Award-winning actress’ relative, the Associated Press is reporting that the body was found in the vehicle that belonged to Hudson’s brother.The white SUV that Julian King was found in was the focus of an Amber Alert from last weekend.The discovery of the vehicle and the SUV comes just days after Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson and brother Jason Hudson were found shot to death in their Chicago home. King is the son of Hudson’s sister Julia Hudson who made a plea to the nation for the safe return of her son.Hudson herself offered a $100,000 reward for the return of King.Julia’s estranged husband William Balfour had already been taken into custody in connection with the double murders. While not charged for the murders of Donerson and Jason Hudson, he has been questioned with regards to the killings. He is now being held on a parole violation.Reports indicate that Balfour and Julia Hudson had been having an ongoing dispute.Jennifer Hudson is best known for her performance in 2006 as Effie White in the movie “Dreamgirls” which won her a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. She recently released her first album earlier this month. She is starring alongside Queen Latifah and Alicia Keys in the movie “The Secret Life of Bees” currently in theaters.Hudson has cancelled all upcoming public appearance until further notice.In New York, open auditions at the Apollo Theater on Nov. 1 for the national tour of the Broadway musical “Dreamgirls” have been postponed out of respect for Hudson and her family. Auditions have been rescheduled for Saturday, November 22.
