Dr. Cornel West and revolutionary activist Carl Dix will face off again at Aaron Davis Hall on City College Campus on Friday, October 29 at 7 p.m.

No, it’s not “Friday Night at the Fights,” but those who attended their previous engagement are well aware that these two giants of intellectual thought don’t pull any punches.

The Amsterdam News’ Herb Boyd will “referee the bout,” with several special guests scheduled to attend.

“In the Age of Obama: Police Terror, Incarceration, No Jobs, Miseducation: What Future for Our Youth?” is the title of the event, which suggests some of the topics to be discussed, though it’s doubtful the talk will be in any way constrained.

The event will be at the Harlem Stage at Aaron Davis Hall, 150 Convent Avenue at West 135th Street. Tickets are $20, but $10 for students with ID. Premium tickets are available for $100.

For tickets, call (212) 281-9240, ext. 19 or 20, or visit www.harlemstage.org.
