M.S. 113 were 61-57 winners over the UAC Rockers in the first-ever Under Armour I Got You Tournament for seventh and eighth graders at Boys & Girls High School in Brooklyn.

It was a close, down-to-the-wire battle. Most Valuable Player Hakeem Slu-Brown led M.S. 113, scoring 19 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in the championship game. M.S. 113, coached by Raheem Anderson, was one of two teams that went undefeated entering the championship game.

Devyn Cooper scored 27 points for the UAC Rockers in the championship game and was named the tournament’s Sportsmanship Award winner.

New York’s All-Star team beat the Philadelphia All-Stars, as incoming freshman Jaime Killings scored 26 points for New York, earning MVP honors. Meanwhile, some 30 of the top seventh and eighth graders took part in the Under Armour Combine Featured Skills Drills.
