“Sundae Sermon” was in full effect Sunday afternoon in Harlem as people of all ages and backgrounds came together at Morningside Park to have a good time.

Although guests at the “Sermon” were greeted by a downpour for the first few minutes, they still danced, mingled and socialized with familiar faces and friendly strangers as the rain passed.

The event, which has been going on for four weekends so far this summer, featured various female DJs, including DJ Beverly Bond, DJ Kamala, DJ Reborn and DJ Kamala. Image activist Michaela Angela Davis hosted the event this weekend.

Returning guests and newcomers still have a chance to check out the festival, which is happening every other Sunday until September 25. For more information on “Sundae Sermon,” check out there website.
