WE tv announced that the network has greenlit the original series “Tamar & Vince” for its 2012 programming slate. The series will showcase Tamar Braxton and her husband, Vincent Herbert, as they navigate their hectic lives, from Tamar’s solo album to Vince’s busy career as a successful music producer. WE tv has ordered eight one-hour episodes, tentatively scheduled to premiere in fourth quarter 2012, with production beginning in March. “Tamar & Vince” is a spin-off of WE tv’s hit original series, “Braxton Family Values.”
The Huffington Post is reporting that Nicki Minaj was recently recognized with a Teacher of the Year Award due to her overall influence on the students at the South Florida-based school Better Education Place. The raptress shares the honor with Lil Wayne for reportedly having the ability to “capture and maintain attention.” In addition, the hip-hop stars were judged alongside actual teachers.
