18th Hispanic Games gets the gun at the Armory (35870)

Always one of the top youth track and field meets of the indoor season, the 18th Hispanic Games on Saturday, Jan. 7 at the Armory (216 Fort Washington Ave. at 168th Street) will feature some 5,000-plus athletes. They’ll be traveling from the Big Apple, Nassau and Suffolk counties, as well as Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware.

At 2 p.m., the Hispanic Games will also roll out the red carpet and honor “Today’s Leaders” as well as the “Youth Leaders of Tomorrow.”

The Armory is the country’s indoor showcase facility for track and field and will host this year’s Millrose Games. However, this week, it’s the Hispanic Games that will headline the youth world of indoor track and field, so head over to the Armory, where you can expect to see some old records fall and new records set.
