Two years after the dramatic earthquake that rocked Haiti, killing over 40 thousand people, many are still mobilizing to show support and help Haitians start over.
On Friday January 13th, a “Hope and a Future” fundraising concert will be held at Brooklyn College. Each dollar raised will be to support the ongoing work of Community2Community: C2C to finance its Haiti Restoration and Transformation Project.
Thanks to the donations raised so far, C2C was able to build 15 latrines; distribute aqua tablets; and aid in the community’s reforesting project.
Oleta Adams, Chrisette Michele, Carimi and many others are scheduled to perform in this concert.
