THE MUSIC WORKSHOP SPRING SESSION

Community residents demonstrate creativity and an appreciation for the arts (Dance, Music and DJing etc), which is often accompanied with an entrepreneurial spirit. The business of Music workshops are designed to nurture this spirit and direct it towards positive outcomes by targeting attractive arenas in the lives of young people- music and Business. In these two components, a class of 10-12 students work collaboratively, learn how to launch and run effective businesses in the music industry. In the business of Music workshop students learn how to design and market their own music label.

DJ 101

DJ Classes basic level: This is a beginning level training for people who have had little or no experience with DJing.

DJ workshop, students learn how to use Turntables, digital studio equipment and mix music and live instruments to make original scores, in additional to producing and marketing their own compilation CD.
