The New York City mayoral race may get a little more interesting as Republican heavyweights are reportedly urging New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly to enter the race. Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch publicly said he would support Kelly and would switch his support from City Council Speaker Christine Quinn to Kelly if the police commissioner decided to run. Kelly has not publicly said he has plans

to run in the 2013 mayoral race.
