In the early hours of Tuesday morning 28-year-old shot and killed his 13-year-old sister and critically wounded his 44-year-old mother with a .22 caliber in Harlem housing projects, Polo Grounds.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the police received a call around 3:30am and arrived to the scene shortly after. Murray was discovered running near Harlem River drive and got caught up in a tumultuous chase that led to a shooting battle with the police. 84 bullets were fired but he suffered from 14 wounding injuring his leg and torso.

The daughter identified as Annie Fryar and mother Christine Frayer were discovered in an apartment on he 12th floor in 2971 Fredrick Douglass Boulavard. Annie was shot in the head and died on the scene. Christine is currently in Harlem Hospital with life threatening injuries.
