While speaking at a Summer Olympics press conference in Paris, San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker revealed he’ll miss a week of practice due to an eye injury he sustained in the Chris Brown-Drake brawl in New York City. Said Parker, “I was with my friend Chris Brown and me and my friends took some punches. They started throwing bottles everywhere. I don’t know what happened.”
During the fight, Parker sustained an injury to his cornea. He says he can’t do anything for seven days. Said Parker, “But I was lucky. The injury won’t prevent me from competing in the Olympics in any way.” I say he needs to thank God that he still has an eye.
