Police removed two people from the Republican National Convention Tuesday after many witnessed them throwing nuts at a black CNN camerawoman saying, “this is how we feed the animals.”
CNN later sent a statement to the Huffington Post confirming the incident happened and that CNN worked with convention officials to address the matter.
According to a post by the “CNN political unit” The RNC released a statement about the incident saying, “Two attendees tonight exhibited deplorable behavior. Their conduct was inexcusable and unacceptable. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated.”
