Project teams from Skanska USA anticipated the arrival of more than 250 Upper Manhattan-based minority, women and local tradespersons/union workers at the company’s Construction Job Opportunity Fair (recently held at the Riverbank State Park in Harlem), an event Skanska co-sponsored with the Empire State Development Corporation. The fair supports Skanska’s company-wide effort to spur the local economy through connecting smaller companies in the area with larger ones like Skanska.
