Apple picking galore at Queens County Farm Museum (39556)

It’s fall, and it’s apple season in New York. There will be a lot of apple picking starting Sunday, Oct. 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Queens County Farm Museum, located at 73-50 Little Neck Parkway in Floral Park.

There, you will find a variety of New York apples, along with donuts, pressed cider and apple pies. You can treat yourself to adorable collectibles and local food items for sale, and there are free games for the kids. The admission to this event is free.

On Saturdays and Sundays until Oct. 28, it’s Pumpkin Month at the farm. You can wander around the pumpkin patch and pick the perfect one for yourself. Sounds like a fun activity for the whole family. Also be aware that on weekdays, pumpkins will be available for purchase in the gift shop. Prices will be determined by the size of the pumpkin. Admission is also free.
