The Amsterdam News, El Dario and the Eagle Academy Foundation are patterning for a mayoral candidate’s forum as part of the Eagle Week Celebration in May.
The forum is scheduled to take place Tuesday, May 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Eagle Academy in the Bronx, located at 4143 Third Ave. Candidates have been invited to attend the forum that will take place before an audience of parents, students, community leaders and clergy.
The topic for the forum will focus on the candidates’ agendas when it comes to education for the city. Amsterdam News Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Elinor Tatum and Gerson Borrero will help moderate the forum. The event will be live streamed on WBLS.
