On June 7, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released the latest job numbers. Total employment increased, with 175,000 new jobs added to the economy in May. The unemployment rate was 7.6 percent in May and individuals unemployed for 27 weeks or more stood at 4.4 million. The sectors that saw the most job growth were in the hospitality, health care, business and professional services industries.
