According to a report done in July by the National Retail Foundation, parents are estimated to spend $26.7 billion during this year’s back-to-school season. No matter how old your child is, with the dawning days of school right around the corner, purchases like school supplies and clothing can add up.

Despite the cost, parents don’t have to pay the extra price in this back-to-school season. Organizations and local charities are doing their part and are offering free school supplies to people throughout New York and New Jersey.
