On Thursday, Oct. 24, there will be a public meeting at M.S. 113 Ronald Edmonds Learning Center (300 Adelphi St., Brooklyn), as they discuss the colocation of the center with New Public Charter Elementary Compass Charter School, as proposed by the Department of Education.

M.S. 113 principal Dawnique Daughtry-Pemberton said, “The public hearing [begins] at 6 p.m. at the school. If people want to make a comment, they must sign up by 5:45 p.m. at the school.”

On Oct. 30, the Panel for Educational Policy meeting will probably be subjected to a verbal assault as teachers, parents and students fight the continued colocations of their schools. The public meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the International High School at Prospect Heights, located at 883 Classon Ave., Brooklyn.
