Tony Award-winning tap dancer and choreographer Savion Glover and Bessie Award winner Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, the founding artistic director of Urban Bush Women, will serve as grand marshals for the eighth annual New York Dance Parade and festival on Saturday, May 17 at 1 p.m. Over 10,000 dancers will participate in the event.

This year’s parade will feature dancers from countries around the globe, including Ukraine, Bolivia, India, Brazil, Korea, Algeria, Tahiti, Mexico, Japan, Estonia, Jamaica, China, Armenia, Spain and Indonesia. Parade registration is open to everyone who wants to dance in the parade. It costs $50 for groups and is free to individuals of all ages and styles of dance.
