Widespread train delays will affect the city today, June 18.
At 9:31 there was a power outage halting railway operation.
An MTA spokesman reports that Con Ed lost two high tension power feeders, causing an outage to much of the city.
The spokesman said power was restored by 9:41, but not before disrupting rush hour traffic.
There may be residual effects throughout the day, before the city can recover to its normal post-delay form. It was a good day to arrive at work on time.
