Council Member Jumaane D. Williams co-hosted the third annual “Pre-Labor Day Senior Concert & Community Day,” Aug. 27, with Assembly Member Helene Weinstein, New York City Comptroller Scott M. Stringer, District Leader Rodneyse Bichotte, caribBEING, Golden Crust, Chef’s Choice, Millennium Development, Emblem Health and Sesame Flyers at Amersfort Park on Avenue I. The event showed appreciation for local senior citizens, who enjoyed music and dance by youth performance groups from the area, including the East Flatbush Village Performers, the Remsen Zumba Dancers, the IET Band and the Sesame Flyers Steel Pan Orchestra.
