For the holidays, it’s all about glamour and attitude! At b Michael’s show, the seats facing the entrance were the best for spotting all the arrivals.
While waiting for shows to begin, editors check out what folks are wearing and take some notes and photos. When designer Phil Harris arrived, all eyes focused on him standing at the front door. Editors and photographers rushed him.
Harris was styling in one of his elegant designs—a shimmering, long, gold, belted coat with a magnificent piece of jewelry. He was also seated in the front row in the next seat and loved b Michael’s show.
Harris is a well-known yet unsung stylist and jewelry designer for men and women. Working out of his studio around 46th Street and Eighth Avenue in New York City, most of his clients prefer his custom-designed fashions and jewelry. Harris is extremely creative and can design that special outfit for holiday parties and for grand entrances.
He was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and started creating jewelry more than 30 years ago. He moved to New York in 1997 and began designing clothes. Harris is a self-made designer and an absolute genius when it comes to style. Google him or visit his Facebook page (www.facebook.com/philharrisdesigns).
