It’s time once again for the International Restaurant and Foodservice Show of New York. This premier event, held at the Javitz Center, begins Sunday, March 8, running through Tuesday, March 10. I encourage all of our Harlem restaurateurs, chefs, eatery owners and burgeoning foodservice and hospitality businesspeople to attend.

This year, there will be more than 500 vendors, live culinary presentations and demonstrations at the Culinary Demo Theater and educational sessions at the Ferdinand Metz Foodservice Forum, plus the 26th annual United States Pastry Competition. This year’s theme, “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend: Ladies Luxuries,” should be very exciting!

The special feature areas include the Pub, Japan Pavilion and hundreds of new products at the Food Trends Experience. Keep it local at the Pride of New York Marketplace/Taste NY area for locally sourced products such as produce, spirits, dairy, baked goods and so much more.

Registration for the show is only $65! Visit for more information and to register. See you there!
