CAYMAN ISLANDS (March 19)—The Choice Hotels International Caribbean portfolio continues to gain guest appeal. Comfort Suites Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman has recorded its best year since it began operations 14 years ago.
“In 2014, the hotel enjoyed outstanding growth, especially in guest occupancy,” reported General Manager Thomas Mason, who adds that the resort is already headed into 2015 with strong results.

Mason believes the resort’s success is the result of a rebounding U.S. economy, the increase in flight availability to the island and the resort’s $2.8 million renovation.
“We’ve worked closely with Choice Hotels to really maximize the performance potential of our hotel through new systems and services that have proven to be very effective,” he noted. “But the key to our success is our staff’s commitment to the guest experience.
