According to Variety, Universal Pictures has given stand-up comedy movie “Kevin Hart: What Now?” an Oct. 14, 2016, release date in the U.S. Hart’s 2013 concert movie “Let Me Explain” grossed $32 million domestically for Lionsgate and became the third highest grossing live stand-up comedy movie of all times. “What Now?” was filmed outdoors in front of 50,000 people at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field. Hart’s buddy comedy “Get Hard,” with Will Ferrell, has grossed $86 million domestically and another $15 million overseas.
