More than 30 New York City street artists showcased their work this weekend at the “Love It or Hate It” art show.
The all-night show started on Friday at 6 p.m. and ended on Saturday at 4 a.m. at Casablanca on the Lower East Side.
Curated by DJ Pumpkin, who also provided music for the event, artists included MURRZ, Hektad, Adam Dare and the late John Blanco.
“I just was tired of the regular art shows and wanted to come up with my own style of show with 90’s classic hip hop, reggae, 80’s Rock and new wave. All genre’s of just great music,” said DJ Pumpkin. “Some people love it, some people hate it. Either way, it’s art and should be appreciated. These artist are passionate and are giving you the true street essence of street art.”
