Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer opened the doors to her storefront location at 431 West 125th Street.

The location is the first street-level storefront office operated by a Manhattan borough president and reflects Brewer’s commitment to making the resources of her office accessible on a walk-in basis to all residents across the borough of Manhattan.

Staff at the northern Manhattan office will be available to provide community members with a variety of constituent services, including but not limited to housing, health care, public benefits and assistance in interactions with city agencies.

Former Manhattan Borough President C. Virginia Fields, Community Board 10 Chair Henrietta Lyle, Community Board 11 Chair Matthew Washington, Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Veterans’ Affairs Brigadier General Loree Sutton (U.S. Army, Ret.) and elected officials attended the ribbon cutting.
