May 19, the Senior Harlem Health Coalition, co-chaired by Dr. Marcella Maxwell and Michelle Stent of the Greater New York Links Health and Wellness Facet, hosted a dinner honoring Dionne Polite, associate New York State director of multi-ethic outreach for AARP, at the historic Sylvia’s Restaurant in Harlem.
Polite is leaving New York State AARP to manage operations for AARP in the state of Florida. Colleagues, directors, senior services programmers and friends attended the farewell dinner to wish her well in her new position.
