Saturday, Aug. 8, the Youth Technology Education & Career Conference 2.0, with emphasis on STEAM, or science, technology, engineering, arts and math, was held at Our Children’s Foundation on West 125th Street. Young people ages 13 to 24 were invited to attend this free, fun, interactive conference, which featured sessions on careers in technology, technology job recruiters, technology exhibits and technology demonstrations.

A special competitive HACK-A-THON focused on music and arts, health and community relations, with youth teams judged by tech experts. The conference was presented by Harlem Week in partnership with Silicon Harlem.
