At the Coler Specialty Hospital and Nursing Facility Campus on Roosevelt Island, the 11th annual Marjorie Matthews’ Community Advocate Recognition Awards were held. This years recipients, representing the Harlem Renaissance Health Care Network, were Billie Jo Thomas from RHCN Auxiliary and Ruth Clark from the RHCN Community Advisory Board. They were chosen for their “unwavering advocacy on behalf of the people served at the New York City public hospitals … and long-term health facilities.”

The evening guests enjoyed the beautiful setting of the East River overlooking the Manhattan skyline and delicious barbecue and refreshments.
