There is much to keep you entertained uptown these days. Call a couple of friends and check out what’s going on in Harlem!

Harlem Park to Park’s annual Restaurant & Retail Week is back and running from Aug. 15 through Aug. 31. During this time, you can enjoy both prix fixe three-course meals and select retail items for $10.15 to $30.15. With so many new places to eat and shop, you will be one busy bee.

Visit harlemparktopark.org for participating venues, menus and retail items. Tag your experience with #EatShopPlayHarlem.

Back for its second year is the Uptown Battle of the Bars: The Art of the Mix, sponsored by Hendrick’s Gin, Hennessy, Uptown Magazine and Tastings Social.

Since Aug. 3, patrons have been voting on Instagram (@UptownBattle) for their favorite cocktail created by bartenders from more than 30 bars in West, Central and East Harlem; Washington Heights/Inwood; and the Bronx.

Aug. 26, the top 12 finalists will compete for title of Best Uptown Bartender in a showdown finale at MIST Harlem. Celebrity judge Mica Hughes, of Bravo TV’s “Blood, Sweat and Heels,” will be in attendance. Harlem resident deejay DJ Stormin’ Norman of Sundae Sermon will be hosting a deejay competition as well.
